Directional tires

Riding fixed and free wheel. I switch depending on conditions so does the tire direction matter? I really can't take the tire off and switch it.

I know working bikes, West Town and the Recyclery have at cost parts or much cheaper than retail but I can't always go that far for parts I mean I'm all about supporting your local bike shop they need to have jobs but after twice feeling ripped off by a $12 inner tube and a $17 pair of pads these are just tiny pieces of rubber.So...I'm looking for a good local or at least U.S. based website to buy parts in bulk that I go through quickly.Side note.
