Bicycle Astronomy

This is a group dedicated to pursuing amateur astronomy using bicycles as a means to get to sites for viewing. You don't need to own your own telescope, but the more the merrier. You should of course own a bicycle, and be interested in amateur astronomy. Anyone with an interest in astronomy will be welcomed from neophytes to experts.See More

"REALLY bad idea... i was once thrown down by a stripped track hub that the owner who lent me the wheel had ridden without a lockring. The remaining threads just let go. Another reason to not borrow a wheel (or any equipment,) without checking it…"
