Jeff Schneider replied to Bob's discussion just got my Chainlink wool jersey!!!!!
"Well, it's not cheap and definitely not a necessity, so I wouldn't recommend spending the rent money on it.  But if you have the cash flow, it's a good investment.  Wool lasts a long time."

That's, the big thing, a bike of my own!  I've got my Hercules 3-speed, but it's limiting.

Not at all,,,especially in the early season people come in with all different levels of fitness. Give it a shot and no worries since the group sometimes breaks off a bit into a couple sub groups but they all have cue sheets.

thanks for the info. I can't make Mon's. Would I be a monkey wrench in the works as a paceline virgin on a Wed?

Bob, do you still do the Wed CCC rides? I'm looking to join in the fun. When do they begin again?

Yeah, I'm almost to my goal of 3500 for the year, so I'm thinking of shooting for 4000. Average of 250/mo for November and December seems doable right now. At least, until it starts snowing...

(and I meant in my previous post, as I write this, not right. Duh.)

Hey Bob! Just ran into your profile on Bikejournal. You're a few spots ahead of me- I always notice when I'm ranked near someone else from Chicago. As I right this you're 1302, and I'm a few back at 1309.

Anyway...kind of random. Ride on!

Yeah it's me, been super busy (or lazy) and haven't made any of the rides, maybe this weekend.
