"I buy Maxell brand CR2032s on Amazon. They last years and are cheap, cheap, cheap. I think the last pack I bought was five batteries for $2 including shipping. I don't have to buy them more than once every three years or so. They are lithium."

"E = "Energizer" - it's just a proprietary code. Any CR2032 battery is interchangeable. C = Lithium/manganese-dioxide. This is the chemistry, which defines the power: it's a 3.0V nominal/3.5V pulse discharge battery and they all…"

Bike light battery question

Looking for guidance regarding bike light batteries.  I have a number of blinkies that use the typical CR2032 watch batteries.  I'm considering buying a few in bulk (up to 10), as it is cheaper and to always have a spare battery around. . .What I am finding is that there are a lot of ECR2032 batteries available on amazon for good prices.  Question - are these lithium batteries?  Will they work well for my bike light?  What is the shelf life of lithium watch batteries. . . .  thanks in advance.…See More

They are getting the ride leaders set up for monday and wednesday night rides. usually we start in april or may, depending on the sunlight and weather. Monday nights are fun too and it's a good way to start the season since mondays are more for beginners with pace rideing. We start at California and Lincoln at 6:30. Once the rides are posted you can check them out on chicagocyclingclub.org under rides

Likewise! It was awkward because when I got there the food looked so... ummm... unappetizing but I didn't want to insult Julie's choice. Still, I'm thinking Chicago needs some kind of ordinance on the number of mayonnaise-based salads allowed in a restaurant. Seems like Polish buffets aren't the most veg-friendly either. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the day!

Joe, your tour in MI sounds amazing. Did you travel solo or with a group? I'd love to ride out and/or back to Ann Arbor. How much time did you allow for this trip? Did you camp or motel it?
Just curious as I get the itch to start touring, too.
