Comment by Todd Allen on March 31, 2011 at 10:36pm There is a parking lot on the south west corner of Clarendon and Sunnyside. I assumed it is for the park though I went on bicycle and did not check the parking lot signage. The park is on the east side of Clarendon.
If that doesn't work out, there is a tremendous amount of parking very close by at Montrose and the lakefront. Parking at Chicago parks used to be free, though I don't drive and I imagine it could have changed since Daley started selling off the city.
Comment by Gina Kenny on March 31, 2011 at 3:46pm Does anyone know if there is free parking in the area? I'd love to bring my son for this but we're out in the suburbs. He thought we could ride my bike with the tag-a-long there but that would take awhile. = )
