What brings you to The Chainlink?
It's the 800 pound gorilla.
About me:
Coordinator of the World Naked Bike Ride Chicago 2006-2013. The event started in 2004, I joined in 2005 and helped produce it since 2006. It draws thousands on an urban ride celebrating the end of oil and the beauty of people.

Heavy participant in Chicago's Critical Mass. I've created and lead numerous routes and pioneered inline skating it. I'm an administrator of ChicagoCriticalMass.org and founder of its popular Facebook presence.

Regularly commute downtown, 20 miles round trip, and participate in popular rides such as Bike The Drive, the Boulevard Lakefront Tour, the L.A.T.E. Ride, the Perimeter ride, Midnight Marauders, Full Moon Bike Club, Rat Patrol, Santa Rampage, Chicago Bicycling Group and others. And I've been an Active Transportation Alliance member for more than a decade.

Author of "The Future Is Low Car" - A comprehensive presentation on the indefensibility of oil culture, presented at the 3000th session of the College of Complexes.

Creator of MassUp.us - A multifunction webapp and Chicago's "Social Cycling System" now in its fifth major version. MassUp.us is supported by the Smart Chicago Collaborative, and listed among Divvy and CTA resources.

Board member with "Break The Gridlock" since 2009, a 501(c)3 organization "dedicated to promoting appropriate transportation through the support of grass roots efforts."

I'm extremely experienced on inline skates, fixie and BMX, a skilled artist and computer programmer, and a lifelong Chicagoan.

1 Corinthians 13

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.

And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.

It does…

Hi Andrew,

From what I gather, you are a key person in Chicago's Critical Mass.  I want to bring a fairly new cycling education program to Chicago.  It's called CyclingSavvy.  Have you heard of it?  Please check it out at www.cyclingsavvy.org and let me know if you think it's something that Chicago's Critical Massers would find helpful.

Hey there Mister,
I still have one of your walkie talkies. A little bird told me there was talk on this here website of what to do with such things. But, my impatient ass never found it. How shall I get it back to you?
