"I often wear a suit to work.  My standard commuting pannier is a garment-bag style set-up I got from Two Wheel Gear.  (See site here.)  The suit fits in their great (along with shoes and undergarments and all sorts of other crap…"

Gravel Road Ride at Start at Boulevard Bikes

March 17, 2013 from 9am to 12pm
Barry-Roubaix, Gravel Metric, Trans-Iowa. These all sound like a blast, but they're far away. Come on a ride with us and explore some gnarly gravel here in Chicago. We'll meet in Logan Square and ride at a moderate pace. Route is yet to be determined, as ground cover changes, but most likely will involve abandoned rail lines and bike paths. Bring some snack food and a bike made for hard riding- touring bike, cyclocross, or mountain bike will be fine.See More

"Zach's comments remind me of one distinct drawback of the Trek Transport:  the kickstand.  In particular, the kickstand does not like a loaded bike where the load is off-balance, and does not do a good job of supporting the bike if…"

"I'll admit I tend to check the weather radar before I leave work each day, just to be sure.  That habit brings to mind this comic."

I was wondering if you saw that documentary trailer and I assumed you knew the Gnarley dudes the movie profiled. Any time you see the Bad Monkey bus stop in and see if I'm around. You'll also see Bad Monkey's on the road and in the beer gardens, you simply can't miss us.

I assure you, not everyone characterizes my perspective as "wit." And thank you for the wheel resource. I got a set of Mavic touring rims with XT hubs for stupid cheap.
