I've noticed that the U of C police in hyde park seem to be enforcing traffic laws moderately frequently. It seems to be a new thing but it's rather interesting.

It works both ways. Cars stop for people, people dont jaywalk.

- I am the Communications Director for the Chicago Regional Council of Carpenters which represents 47,000 union men and women in three states who swing a hammer for a living. I work as a volunteer to aid refugees from southern Sudan and its western region Darfur who are now living in Illinois.
