What brings you to The Chainlink?
The Chainlink is a Chicago area cycling centric social forum. It is one more facet to Chicago's attraction as a cycling friendly city.
About me:
I've been cycling for almost forty years. I'm now an avid road rider, accumulating about 100 miles per week from May through September. This usually includes four or five organized century rides in Illinois and Wisconsin. In the Fall and early Spring I'm inclined to take to the local trails.
I conduct most of my own maintenance and have written a comprehensive paper on road-bike fit.

I wrote this article after conducting a lot of of research prior to purchasing my last road bike. This is a fairly comprehensive article that attempts to provide one with sufficient insight to confidently purchase a bike or frame on spec., from either ebay or another online vendor.
