This group is for people who have developed routes used by bike events with a dozen or more participants, such as CCM or any mini-mass, cycling clubs or professionally, or been significantly involved with the map design and lead process.
If this applies to you please join this group to help identify the pool of people having such skills and experience, and to find new talent.

First, let me thank you again for your interest in Google Map Maker! It’s great to see so many people excited about updating and correcting the maps in the neighborhoods they care about.

After the Google MapUp event on October 17th, we’d love to hear even more from our Map Maker enthusiasts.

We would also love to speak with you about Map Maker Project ideas you may have.

New to chainlink, a friend sent me a link to this group. I live out West in the Fox Valley and do extensive bike route maps for ride groups and organized events, including The Swedish Days Ride, The Sub-5 Century Challenge and new this year, The Wounded Warriors Soldier Ride.

I'd like to have the Halloween ride end at my place again, and there will be the Bike Winter Arts Festival in February (most likely at Flat Iron again). In both cases, I don't really care about the route, just want to help create two fun biannual destinations.
