Applications are being accepted for review from September 11th through October 1st..

REI Lincoln Park is currently looking for motivated, outdoor enthusiasts to work as Sale Specialists and in Frontline Operations.

People love working at REI because it's a place where you can be yourself, be heard and be respected while enjoying a work-life balance. Another reason is that REI is a co-op. Rather than thinking quarter to quarter, we can take the long view and focus on what's best for our members, while conducting business in a way that's socially and environmentally responsible. We're crazy about enjoying the outdoors, and we're just as committed to leaving it in good hands for future generations.  If that sounds like the place where you'd want to work and the kind of people you'd like to work with, please take a closer look at what we have to offer.  We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.

REI Lincoln Park also offers the some awesome cycling benefits: secure indoor employee bike parking, employee shower & locker facilities, bike shop discounts, commuter incentives and more!

To apply follow the link below and choose “Apply: REI Retail” on the right.  On the next screen, select the state (Illinois). Open positions will post on September 11th.

i know where ill be taking my resume.

FYI- From day one REI has been a supporter of the chainlink by posting events on the site and always having bookmarks on site.

A company that definitively believes in community and offer many classes (many free) and as well as a free community room if you want to host a meeting. Chicago Cycling Club often has meetings there.

Julie - Thanks for the shout out, and thank you for all that you do to keep the Chicago Cycling community connected!
I probably won't apply but I really need to get a look at those portable solar panels.
