Description

Purpose: In recognition of Chicago River Day, Friends of the Major Taylor Trail and the Major Taylor Cycling Club Chicago are organizing a bike ride along the Major Taylor Trail from the Dan Ryan Woods to Whistler Woods and back. This event is intended to be a readiness event for Bike the Drive, & The Late Ride to encourage physical and mechanical preparation.

Agenda:

8:30 – 10:00 a.m.: Festival of cycling, Bike preparation and Wellness.

10:00 - 10:15 a.m.: Welcome address and points of interest.

10:15 – 11:00 a.m.: Ride to Whistler Woods

11:15 - 11:45 a.m.: Chicago River Day Presentation & rest stop

12:00 – 1:00 p.m.: Return to Dan Ryan Woods
