Decided to make an attempt at completing a century ride before 9am. Left the house at 2:45am and headed north to catch this sunrise in Kenosha. Turned back and hammered south in steadily increasing headwinds--trying not to worry about the darkening skies. Managed to make it back to my house at 8:53am with about 2 minutes to spare before the sky opened up with a torrential downpour and lightning. 101.8 miles. A success!

Saw a lot of cyclists headed north along Sheridan road on my way back. Sure hope they fared okay in that storm front!
