About me:
The Ride of Silence is an organized annual cycling procession honoring those that have been injured or killed. The goal is to raise awareness that we are here, and to ask that we all share the road.

The Chicago Ride Of Silence will gather at the Eternal Flame in Daley Plaza on Wednesday, May 20, at 6:45 PM and depart at 7 PM. The 10-mile route is set to pass the sites of crash
victims. Many of the sites are marked by Ghost Bikes, which are powerful memorials to fallen cyclists created by painting a bicycle white and placing it at or near the site of the cyclist’s death.

Ride may follow the same route as last year... open to suggestions/ideas for alternate route and other ghost bike locations to visit.
Yes - we will keep with the Ghost Bike Theme.

Do you have an idea of which direction this year's ride will go?

Need to start prioritizing which new ghost bikes will be made and placed.

Assuming you intend to stick with the Ghost Bike theme.

Is there a chance it could go south?

Will have a way to display a 4 ft. banner either parallel or perpendicular to the flow of traffic. Will try to provide as much supplies as possible for displaying same.
