Momma Henry's Trek Benefit and Welcome at Uptown Central Park

July 27, 2012 from 6pm to 9pm
The Blue Island community hosts a welcome event for Momma Henry's Trek - a team of local Eisenhower High School graduates cycling from SF to Yorktown (with a detour to their hometown, Blue Island) raising funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in honor of Antonia Henry. The MHT team includes Eisenhower graduates David and Johnathon Henry, Guadalupe Fernandez, and Carlos Salgado. Cal-Sag Cycles is a youth pop-up bike shop in Blue Island. Begun in June 2011, we train jr. high kids from Blue Island schools to repair and assemble bikes as part of our earn-a-bike program
