I don't ride it much any more, but I'm still interested in it, so yes, I would be up for a meeting.

I am.

Who's up for a physical meeting to discuss Oakley's future?

Armed robbery at Oakley and Flournoy, 2 perps on bicycles-- can't post it for some reason.

I noticed some patching in the deeper holes between Chicago and Grand last Sunday. They mostly seemed to bring the depth of the holes up by about 50%-- probably nothing left of the patches a month or two from now.

I spoke to someone named Carrie at the 32nd Ward office who gave kind of a vague promise to call CDOT about 8-900 N. Oakley.

Thanks for calling-- I really can't track these as I only pass that way every few weeks.

The best time to call 311 by far is late at night-- hold times seem to be worst on weekdays until mid-evening.

On hold with 311 now. . . .tra la la. There's a monster one at 955 N.

Howard, I do not think yours are filled in yet. I did notice some partial patches north of Div on the east side of the street. Chicago to about 1400 N--the whole road is a mess.  Do you have any thoughts on advocating for repaving?

Hurumph--just waited on hold for about 5 mins to be informed that "the system" is down and I should call back tomorrow.  If you don't hear a report back from me, I welcome a nudge.

The potholes on the 800 block are still there, getting bigger by the day.

Thanks, Gin,

Yes, 311.  You probably know this but you can ask any 311 operator to look up the status of a request by address.  I had the operator enter these as three separate requests (the 311 system works but the folks carrying out the requests can be very meticulous about addressing only what's in the request and nothing more.)
