"Warrenville Cyclist who strikes semi dies"

This is not the first time that the Tribune has stated that the death or injury of a cyclist was due to the cyclist hitting a vehicle:

How about some better reporting on the cause.

Do we know whether he hit the truck or if the truck hit him?  The news story says he hit the truck, but they're also looking for witnesses.  It does make you wonder, but the news story is so thin that you don't get enough information to know.

Either way, trucks are very dangerous to be near.  I'm never comfortable riding next to them.
