Vintage Wheelset: Campagnolo Record hubs laced to Mavic Clinchers

This is a matching Campy and Mavic wheel set from the seventies.

The hubs are Campagnolo Record, both front and back were used very little and are still quite smooth, with matching Campy quick releases. The front QR is clean, the rear QR has some rust.

The Rims are Mavic G 40 clinchers. They're true, but as you can see in the photo some of the eyelets on the rear have rust. The nipples still spin nicely though.

Spokes are stainless steel. Don't know the brand. There're no bends or corrosion on any of them.

The freehub is a Suntour, and spins freely. The cogs show very little wear.

Overall these wheels are in fine shape, considering their age. They've spent most of their lives on the floor of a garage.
