[Recovery Story] Bike makes its way back to place of purchase to be reclaimed by its owner.

I like this story because:

1) Victim used his noggin and did everything right

2) 10th district police (my home team) were willing to help in a relatively low-value bike recovery

3) Police charged the seller with posession of stolen property, which rarely happens in cases where the seller doesn't seem likely to be the thief

4) Kind of interesting that the victim had purchased the bike at Working Bikes and the seller ultimately chose that location to meet up for the "purchase."

Here's the craigslist listing:

And here is another ad listing this bike and 13 others:

My guess is that the seller stupidly scours Swap-O-Rama for bikes he thinks he can make a few bucks off of.  Hopefully he'll rethink his business model...

FYI I have not made any attempt to match any of these bikes with http://stolenbike.org listings... should be fun as you'll need to identify the model and distinguishing features with your bare bike-geeky eyes.  Have at it...

This one here looks like someone might be pining for it.  Any idea what the make/model is?
