Is there anyone who rents bike trailers, ideally near the north side lakefront? I need to take a bunch of stuff to the thrift store.

Don't know if they still do, but Boulevard Bikes definitely did at one point.  Also Rapid Transit I think.

If you can find and purchase a BOB Yak Nuts (http://www.bobgear.com/bike-trailers/bob-nutz) or the QR (http://www.bobgear.com/bike-trailers/bob-quick-release) (whichever is appropriate for your bike), you are welcome to borrow my BOB Yak... in exchange for the attachment when you are done :)

I had attachments... but the bike it was on got stolen.

I'm not sure if the bob is big enough for what you are hauling, though.  I live near the intersection of Broadway and Waveland Ave.

If you try these guys let me know how it goes.

I looked through all the listings and don't see any trailers.... one cargo bike though.

Some thrift stores will pick up if you can't get a trailer.

I have a kidaroo 2-seater child trailer that you can borrow if you like.  i'm near clark and peterson.

Kevin from Blvd said - We rent a five foot Bikes-At-Work flatbed trailer. It's good for moving couches, beds, large things, lots of tiny things at once, etc. I've pulled my buddy Todd on it many times to mark the BLT route.

i have a bike trailer I no longer use. I would be willing to sell it for a good price. the hitch is very easy to remove and install to other bikes, etc.  send me a text to (31 two)  351 - 4 zero 52

You can rent my trailer for a day in exchange for a six-pack.

Thank you all for your help! I think I have found another solution but I appreciate all of the suggestions and generous offers.
