Description

Join us at the June Evanston Bicycle Club meeting for a presentation about mountain biking.  George Pastorino started mountain biking in 1997 and immediately became a fan of the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits.  He is both a road and mountain biker but finds an advantage in biking off road away from cars.  George will speak about mountain biking and share his experience as a volunteer with the International Mountain Bicycling Association’s (IMBA) National Mountain Bike Patrol and it’s work to support recreational mountain biking including the programs for student athletes of the National Interscholastic Cycling Association.  George is President and Mountain Bike Coordinator of the Elmhurst Bicycle Club, Certified Mountain Bike Guide and Skills Instructor, National Mountain Bike Patrol Instructor, and is Wilderness First Aid Certified, Certified in CPR and Life Support.
