The Chainlink

Sadly I'm moving to NY and won't have the stable to fit my bikes. They're all roughly 56cm unless noted, a few 58, 54, and a 53... go fig. Contact me here or at joshATchicagofoodiesDOTcom

Awesome Canadian Commuter Brodie Ocho... internal alfine system. Rare in this part of town. beautiful shape 56cm-ish – $550

Canondale f500 with sram. Great shape, taped. "Large" frame whatever that means (56-58ish?) – $400

Handbuilt by Giuseppe Marinoni... columbus tubing, full Campagnolo victory. 55cm – $550

Eddy Merckx cyclocross -Alucross frame with Campy mirage/athena mix. 56cm – $800

Pretty much worth only for the frame. Will throw in the wheels, rest... It's NOT a torino. Nothing like a torino. But it IS a Gios and would make a sweet fixed/ss with a unique history. 55cm I think – $100

Man, I'm actually glad that none of these fit me, or I'd be scrambling to scrape up the cash to buy 'em quick!  The Brodie with internal gears and disc brakes is sweet, but I really like the Merckx Campy 'cross bike.

If you're leaving these beauties behind, what are you taking with you?!

1985 7/11 Murray team/ Serotta /Eric Heiden 58cm

1996ish Team Lemond/ Hot Tubes/ Mark McCormack 58cm

1972 Bottecchia 58cm

1984 Pinarello French olympic team frame 58cm

1982ish Trek 510 with Shimano 600 Arabesque 54cm

1993ish Balance Alu7000 fat tubed with full Deore XT small frame

1995 Concorde Team PDM SLX with Campy Chorus 53cm

But they're all for sale... what's your size Paul? ;)

I'm  sure Working Bikes would appreciate them. Do you typically itemize your taxes?

:-)

pics/info on the Concorde?

Well, I ride nearer to a 53cm frame, so that Concorde would probably fit best, but in a perfect world I'd hand you a thick wad of cash and take the 7/11 bike home and hang it up on my wall!

Really really nice stable of bikes, my man.

We need to see more pics!!!

Concorde is set up for Chorus though it has a 600 ultegra rear d at the moment. I have most of the group, brifters included, in boxes and would throw in a pair of Chorus ProFit pedals since it's not fully assembled...

And it's Team Saturn, not Team Lemond. Duh.

and I have to represent for the folders... my daily ride? A dahon mu uno.

Ah, just a bunch of junk.  Some of them even have downtube shifters!  No one wants that kind of bike anymore.

Set them out for the alley pickers.

(But, um, be sure and let me know when you're doing so, okay?)
