If the weather permits, I will most definitly mark my calender.
i may have been bamboozled...(get it..bamBOOZled?)...on our winning of the golden tickets. looking into it.
I'm going to offer up a friend's home brew for a DL bottle. Can we meet at the same locale as last year... near 95th street?

Miraculously got two tickets nanoseconds before they sold out. im not trying to age this time (ok, maybe one of em). the others we plan to share with the fellow riders that day at the fest.
I would be up for the train option (for returning home).

what is the date again ?

That's what I did last year and it was awesome. The ride there wasn't so bad being drunk and unfamiliar with the area

great, thanks for the info.
So the train version could include a visit to the Flossmoor Brewpub! How perfect.
Dark Lord Day = April 24
For train routes home, we’ve established that it’s about 10 miles from Flossmoor train station (and brewpub). Then a friend pointed out that it’s about 15 miles from the Blue Island train station and the Maple Tree Inn. I see a wonderful day coming together…
i still need to figure out if i have a ticket... gotta call them and make sure.. it will be a sad sad moment if it turns out they took my money then returned once they figured out the over sold :(
maple tree inn is good cajun food and a lot of little bars around there.

I'm in! Do you know the nearest Metra station? I want to have a back-up plan if I need to do the bike & train combo.
maple tree inn is good cajun food and a lot of little bars around in the area. Kind of working class Mexican and Irish neighborhood

Anybody riding in from the west suburbs? (West Chicago, 60185). Perhaps the best for me would be to take Metra into city and meet you guys on the south end of Chicago and ride down.
