Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

union station md-w @ 10:30. bring a glass.
ugh now 80% and radar looks ominous, yellow with a little red inside. hmm, maybe the train after all? be "inside" when it hits?
50%, and warm, i think i'll risk it. but looking west, it does look dark.
will aim for fullerton & halsted @ 10. looking forward to a close look at o'hare.
unless it starts raining before then.
I'm a maybe. If I go I'll ride out there.
right, would you like to join me? anybody else?
looking at the route, thinking about riding back, too. 27.6 out + 22 to More + 21 back = 70.6 total.
i see now:
Variable clouds with scattered thunderstorms. High 79F. Winds SSW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 60%.
for me, probably it'll come down to whether it's raining when it's time to leave. rain on the way when it's 76 °F wouldn't be the worst thing in the world. since Roselare doesn't open until noon, i could leave as late as 10:08. big SSW wind, hmm.
leaving later + starting closer = might ride out to meet you again, weather permitting. depart 9:31 to ride 26.3 @ 14.8 = 1:47 arrive 11:18.
independent of sat., fri. looks good, can anybody else get away then?
i'm out this time, enjoy!
