Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Routes on Ride with GPS, here.

On Facebook, here.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

mark thanks for letting us know. wed. isn't evening isn't great for me. fri. afternoon is an option, definitely better weather-wise, but a table and chairs are being delivered and they won't give me my 2-hour window until the day before.

Metropolitan Wed. night if anyone interested... https://www.facebook.com/events/1273785422776029

Bob, I could be up for Imperial but liking Friday afternoon better at this point, weather-wise if that works at all? Leave Noon-ish. Too soon for accurate forecasts though. Keep me posted. Thinking something like https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/2099038924 (Orange Line home from Midway is an option)
