Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society
Information
Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

No, a little creature, seemingly as curious about me as I was about it. We stared at each other a long time as I coasted closer and closer. Finally it disappeared into the brush alongside the trail.
Liquid Dreams was a blast! Beer, food, music, all top-notch.

the beer and food and company were great, i liked the route tweaks, somehow the hills didn't seem so long this year, i didn't bonk, the weather in the morning was beautiful and it didn't rain until i was inside revolution and after i left it only sprinkled, and old opcc friend of mine joined us on his pedersen.

all set, i think, for the Ninth Step Double-Oktoberfest Almost-Century tomorrow. starting time (pushed back to 8) and location, route, beers, found my light gloves. looking forward to seeing some of you!

ok, leaving @ 8:30 from fullerton & the lake for FFF. maybe then for a change of pace W as if to flossmoor, but then down the thorn creek trail to the old plank trail all the way out to wolf rd and up to tribes, only 2 blocks from the rock island @ 2:30 and 4:30. 33 to FFF + 28 to tribes = 61 total.
