Information

Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society

Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).

Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

On Twitter, here.

Lists of breweries and brewpubs (and other beer things): on Facebook, and on Twitter.

My bad, I mean THIS Sunday. 5/13/18.

Anyway, I'm planning on a short ride to 18th Street Brewery in Hammond if anyone's interested. This will be a slow ride that can split into a slow group and fast group. 26 miles. Train back option. Leave from Waveland Golf Course at 10 a.m. by the Clocktower.
