"An app does me little good. I process my biking videos on my PC. I don't think it's asking too much to build a website that works with at least one of the three major browsers on Windows 7."

New 311 Feedback form?

Sitting down to pursue my every-few-nights activity of submitting rideshare and cab bike lane blockage violations to Chicago 311, and noticed they have a new feedback form that finally looks like it's from the 21st century.  Anyone else notice or get this form, or is it just me?I submitted a few on Sunday but it was still the old form.  So it must be pretty new (I think).UPDATES: And you can attach files (like photos) directly to the form!  Terrific.  Again, I'll probably still have to fill out…See More

"Don't forget to submit to 311 if it is a city licensed vehicle - taxi, livery vehicle, even rideshare.  They will actually pursue and ticket since it's an easy way for them to get revenue. I submitted a livery vehicle to 311 once and…"

What brings you to The Chainlink?
I love biking in Chicago, no matter what the season. In addition from almost always being the quickest way to get from Point A to Point B, it's fantastic exercise, a great mood-booster, and often times one of the highlights of my day. Commuting, errands, etc. Excited to share my passion with others and help make Chicago an even better place to bike!
About me:
Have lived in Chicago since 2012, with the exception of a 18 month stint in suburban Dallas (ugh - couldn't wait to get back). River West - Loop commuter (used to commute all the way from Wrigleyville) and enjoy bike camping/touring (ask me about Pittsburgh - DC or Missouri's Katy Trail). Did a century ride once - operative word being ONCE. Enjoy the lakefront trail - but only south of the Loop. Ride a vintage 10-speed (Volkscycle - some kind of no-name brand, though you can't tell with all the electrical tape on it) that's 40+ years old but still in good shape with tons of character and stories.
