What brings you to The Chainlink?
Interest in the "Did you ride today" discussion board and the chicago cycling community in general.
About me:
I am a web developer and designer at Illinois Institute of Technology and I started bike commuting from Evanston to 31st and State a couple summers ago. Almost 40 miles/day is getting me acquainted with everything that can (and will) need repair on a bike. I used to ride a 6 or 7 year old Bianchi Parco Milano that I converted to single speed. Now, I'm on a single speed Schwinn Typhoon with an Xtracycle back end so I can carry the kiddos around. Having a great time.
My other websites (twitter, facebook, pinterest, Google+, blogs, etc.):

My first bike:
1970's Schwinn Stingray with banana seat. The grass on the path we rode around my parents house was only recently able to grow back... My odometer had almost 900 miles on it from riding around and around and around the house.
