"Hi Everyone! I still have not solved the winter glasses thing. Most of the time, my regular bike glasses with clear lenses are fine. Get down to zero or below, and they all suck. My snowboarding goggles fogged up too. Part of it is to not get so…"

Rode Lincoln Park > Kenosha > Harvard yesterday

A lot of rain early AM but turned into a beautiful day. The White River Trail was gorgeous with Fall colors - people of all ages checking out the scenery around the Pedal & Cup near Lyons, WI - really cool bike shop/rental shop/lunch spot. 117 miles with a roller coaster ride on S. Lake Shore Drive past Lake Geneva. Considered calling it done for long rides this season, but I don't want to let go...See More

Libertyville to Fox River/Prairie Trail - any suggestions?

Just got back from a ride Lincoln Park > Lake Forest > Libertyville > Crystal Lake. Great ride except the last part - past county V76 to the Prairie trail was awful. There is construction on county road V61, and Google maps was dangerously wrong about S. River Road before Moraine Hills park. Packed with traffic, nasty rumble strip and no room. Whoo...Anyone ride Libertyville to Prairie Trail? Its a beautiful area but seems tough to find a way through that doesn't involve endless…See More
