it was good meeting you too!!! i am just a little embarrassed at how intoxicated i was... think I may keep a low profile for a couple weeks at that spot.
We normally practice in a lot on Ukrainian Village or by Fulton Market. Now that it's getting warmer, prolly somewhere by the lake soon! Feel free to come on out... the more the merrier:) If you want, pm some contact info so I can give you a heads up next time!
Goodness gracious - that's the creepiest thing I've done in a long time! I thought you were at the sledding event! At any rate, I hope to meet you at some point!
No, I don't play bike polo... never tried my hand at it. The chainrings on my bikes probably say otherwise, haha. I like them because I like to microgear my bikes, and the fact that it keeps me from getting grease on my pants and shoes. Oh yeah, and I like how they look too:) I just got the 2010 version of the Milwaukee pologuard. So clean looking!
I noticed that you posted on ChiFG in response to my friend Seth's bike. You are building up a Bruiser? That is awesome! Are you building it up for tricks, or do you just like the style? They are great... I almost built one up myself.
So it seems riding bikes is the new black....thanks for the link. The Scott Fountain the two dudes were making out in front of is way nicer than Buckingham yet on a island in the middle of the Detroit River so it goes unnoticed by visitors - the few who actually go to Detroit...
Thanks for the positive comment. I tend to get a lot of hate because my bikes are so weird, haha. I'm going to change my pics soon, as the bikes posted look pretty different now. Plus I have a couple more that I need to take pictures of!
That's awesome - I keep throwing around the idea of riding in Detroit's CM with some friends of mine since I am from there and all, but can never get around to actually doing it. Riding in Detroit is great since there is no one there! You just need to look out for the broken glass....everywhere
Your friend is (imagine Johnny Carson with the envelope to his head): Rob? Mo? Well, in fact we are going to Columbia, MO for the Midwest Champs this weekend. So there probably won't be any polo. But let's get together the weekend after!

don't think we've met, though i see thousands of people a summer in the shop, so maybe. I work at Kozy's on halsted. Let me know when you get all your stuff together and we can get it built. we can go in after hours sometime so we won't get in the way, the service department there tends to get busy.
if you still need your bike put together, I can let you use all the tools in the shop sometime and show you what your doing, free of charge, though food is always nice.
