Antique Bicycles at Evanston Ecology Center

Carey Williams is the National Captain of The Wheelmen, an international group dedicated to the research, preservation, collecting and riding of antique bicycles from 1931 and before. The organization seeks to preserve early bicycles, many of which were instrumental in The Good Roads Movement from which America has benefited to this day, and encourages cycling as a part of modern living. Carey will share the history of early bicycles and will bring an old bicycle to the presentation. See More
