Pedestrian clipped by cyclist

I couldn't believe it!Pedestrian is ok. I think the cyclist had his ego bruised more than anything. Headed home on Adams towards Wabash, two cars in front of me (I was going to head south on Wabash, ready to make a left turn) were moving forward with the new green light/ped crossing light. Pedestrians crossing Wabash were many. And that's when I saw this man go full on bypassing the red light. Clad in winter riding gear and a cyclocross-ish looking bike, clips a man crossing the street. I think…See More

"Yes, cameras with a constantly flashing light as a warning, maybe, would deter red running drivers.  Last summer, there was a group of pedestrians ready to cross and I told them that as soon as we get the walk signal, we cross. Did so only to…"

Hey man, nice to meet you. Didn't you say once you worked in a music store on Michigan Ave where you sold trumpets.? That would put you at 410 S. Michigan. You can run but you can't hide.

I boycotted this site for a few years, but your posts got me out of my funk. As Frank Zappa said, music is life.

Hmmm, no actually, he didn't say that, so I said it on his behalf. I think he'd be okay with that, though.
