I think it's worth identifying preferred re-filling stations on the west side. What's your favorite nook, cranny, or bartender? I'm drunk-riding distance home from the Clipper, so that's my default. Continue

Here's this year's event and schedule for TdF. Hope to see you there!

Yo, West Town Bike Gang! Let's ('try to') have a special meet-up before the Tour de Fat parade Saturday. We could ride together in the parade as a 'gang' and show our colors and protect our 'hood. (Sorry, just stoopid gang talk) Meet up 10:30-11am at the Palmer Square water fountain(north of kids play area). I'll 'try' to have a sign, "Beware, West Town Bike Gang Hangs Out Here!" Others could wear signs and 'gang costumes' during the parade, Beware! 'WestTown Bike Gang'. Let's get dis' party started! Just Sayin'! Yo, Let's Roll! See Ya! . . .

Haven't heard back from anyone else yet, and there's also a rat bike ride tonight which I know a few folks are going to. So I'm going to suggest Thursday and if a couple of you materialize for Thursday let's do it. Either we can shoot up the channel trail, Head out west or any other place your little hearts desire.

I'm shooting for after sundown: between 8:30 and 9 PM start time, and go for an hour-ish max so the working folks can still get up in the morning.

I'm thinkin' Wednesday night. Meet up around the northside of Humboldt Park. Head somewhere North/South or West? Who's in?

Sounds interesting Ruby. Not sure I can do it this week. What do the other 46 WTBG members think? Day-time-place-route-refreshments? Your lead Ruby.

Hey Gang,

It's been too long since we've even approached a cruise around the hood. Anyone up for something Tuesday or Wednesday evening this week? After 9pm is my preference.

Say hi to the head brewer for me, his name is Dave.

Let's do it! The weather is feeling more wintery these days so this could be a little ambitious, but taking a ride out to this brewpub in Beverly is a fairly straight shot from the west side and a roughly 14 mile ride. Thoughts on a Saturday day trip up here for burgers & brews?

(Belated) Welcome back to NoNoWeWe, Marco.

Tom is right. We're as active as you want to be. I'm holed up with the flu right now, so I'm no good, but by all means, Ride! Ride!
