I contacted a local (Iowa City,Iowa) property management company to find out if they had bikes abandon on the propertys. AS it turnedout they were more then happy to give a 30 day notice to have all bikes removed then allowed me to remove them. I ended up with more then 30 bikes some good for parts some ready to ride. I held on to them for another 30 days then donated them to the local Bike Library. They were some what surprised when I went in asked if they took bikes then proceeded to bring in the truck load. Sounds like this idea may work for your group. The Bike Library repairs and rents bikes for $20. If you bring it back you get the $20 back if not you own a bike for $20. All parts are recycled if there is unusable metal it is take to the junk yard ....curt
