Eat to ride, ride to eat

Calling all foodies, gastronomes, and gluttons alike! I'm proposing a monthly get-together that rides to a destination that offers delectable comestibles. Destination decided by the group. Initial ideas are Pizza Art, Hero's, Smoque. Endless options!

If you haven't been to Walker Bros, make that the opening ride. The wait can be ridic cause the food is SO good but it's worth it...Even the Coffee there is awesome. ;-)

Poochies is fast food, Get a Char Polish or an Italian Beef, wet, with your choice of peppers. Cheddar Fries, and a Large Soda...SO GOOD! I grew up going to this place when Harvey was the OG owner, but the current owner has kept the quality of food almost as good...though they now put ice in the soda's when they didn't use ta. ;-)

Good point about the bike racks. It's something I was taking into consideration when planning a bike/eat jaunt.

I've been also meaning to check out Walker Brothers, too. A food critic in N.O. told me how badarse their pancakes are. Thanks for the suggestions!

Walker Brothers on Green Bay Rd (wilmette) and Poochies on Dempster (Skokie) are great eats - but something i notice more and more is when I ride outta the city there are no Bike Racks. THe IHOP in Skokie has nothing but a hook in the wall I found by accident to lock up to.
