To the gentleman who took my friend home for a good time last night, I sincerely apologize on his behalf. As you've surely figured out by now, he is str8 and has never become comfortable with the sexual curiosities and sexual fluidity that all humans naturally experience. After calming down and having some sense talked into him, he realizes there was no way you could have known this, and therefor cannot be blamed for his sober discomfort with the situation. So sorry that he put you through that. Very very sorry about the scene he caused.

I'm hoping that (despite my friend's idiotic display, unfair accusations, and ridiculous demands) you'll be willing to help me. I'm not a man, I'm a woman, and not just a woman, but a full fledged fag hag. I see the situation for what it clearly is. I gave my friend quite a scolding for his morning-after behavior. Now, about the bike he was riding...it was borrowed. Not his. Mine. He says he thinks he may have left it locked up in front of your building, or maybe even brought it into your house, but he can't remember where you live. Not even within a five block vicinity. It's a black bianchi, in case your memory is also fuzzy ;) Do you have it or know where it is? If not, do you recall seeing him with it at any point? It is a prized and most highly valued possession. A gift from my brother, in fact. Losing it forever would absolutely destroy me, and getting it back would mean the world. Again, I'm so so sorry about what my friend did to you this morning. He feels really bad. If you would allow me to come pick up the bike, I promise you I will come alone, baring gifts, waving a white flag (and a rainbow one too).

butch-er than thou: want to teach me more about bikes?!? I would love to work more on some...

OK, I wasn't trying to project a 'butch-er than thou' attitude with my question. Just trying to set up some dialogue and get some activity on this group. BTW, just finished lacing a wheelset for my new project. See Project Blackadder on the BBC group.

I am living outside the city (just moved to chicagoland 2 months ago) and am in search of a place to move into. I have 2 cats, intern with the EPA and have to stay under about 500 month. Anyone looking for a roommate?

I too like to work on my own bike- SlyRed, although I cannot claim to know how to do everything on my bikes yet.

well sorry I have my bikes worked on, one I have no time, two, they have become so complicated and for safety reasons.

OK I waited a week and didn't hear from anyone, so I'm claiming to be the only homo on here who works on his own bikes. ;^D

Wrenching queers. I build/work on my own bikes. If you do too let me hear from you!
