Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Sorry, but I can't make it.
So this is getting a little ahead but is anyone else taking or have the day off on Friday July 5th and up for a ride? I have no idea where or how far so open to suggestions if there's interest. It can even be local spots like Revolution's Tap Room.
Last year when we did this there were a lot of Mute Swans and possibly some Trumpeter (unlikely) Swans as well. I'll be bringing binoculars this time. Bring your appetite and space to carry back some beer from the pub.
Swans for lunch with beer? Sweet!
good stuff today serge, we will have to do it again. okski...
Crap that sounds like a fun ride but I can't make Monday!
