Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Not suburban hipsters! Those are the worst kind of hipster!
28th is also the Ninth Step Ride. 22nd is north shore century. when's the marathon? life is complicated!
just scheduled the the Tenth Step Ride for 10/12 and the Eleventh for 11/2. hope those are good dates for everyone.
sergei, 29th might be possible. if i'm not too wiped out from the day before, i'd even consider riding out to the start.
morgan, thanks for spreading the word. will miss you in cali.
Serge, I can probably make it on the 29th. I'd definitely like to try Hopvine.
Morgan, it's 10.09, but it's not for long. :-)
Are you turned off by 200-mile rides at 30 mph? Can you leave work early? It's the Fuckin' Catalina Wine Ride. 3.7 miles, 10.09 mph, Friday the 13th.
