Chicagoland Beer Exploration Society
Information
Every member of the Society (CBES) should aspire to have a beer at every brewery or brewpub located in a day or two bicycle ride distance from Chicago (and, of course, within the city limits).
Naturally, preferable way of getting to is by bike, as for riding back . . . whatever is available, train, bus, horse and buggy, depending on amount of beverages consumed at the destination.

Penrose Brewing taproom is now open in Geneva right off the Fox River Trail. I'm thinking of doing a ride there from Crystal Lake on Apr 12 if school deadlines allow.
