Reggie,

We rode through the fall.  Certainly no riding right now!  Am unaware of any meetings or organizing yet for next year....

Are you thinking of riding again?  We missed you!

Happy shovelling!

Mary

I talked to Paul (bike shop) recently and I know that he'd like to see new life injected into the club. There should be a Spring kick-off meeting and likely there are going to be officers elected. I think the club could use a shot in the arm. Sadly, I'm rarely home / out  early enough for the rides. What are your thoughts about the clubs future? Ken
Hello Mary how are you? I want to thank you for replying. I still want to ride with the club. I want the club to grow and be more involved in cycling events. We have to be consistent in this effort.
I've got a lot on my plate right now, so I don't think I'll be able to do anything this year. I have member stuff at my house and can pass it on to someone who wants to take charge.

Who's coming to the spring kickoff/social night tonight?  Come by the bike shop starting at 6:30 p.m. tonight to talk about BBC this year.

Thanks Paul (Beverly Bike) for the hospitality last night!  Weather permitting, I plan to start our weeknight rides next Thursday night.  Starbucks, 6:15; leave 6:30!

Maybe Steve and I will see some of you at the Easter Ride on Sunday?

Hi Reggie,

Nice to see you at the meeting of riders held at Beverly Bike shop last night!   While Folks on Spokes seem to have a lot of organized rides, Merle & I still enjoy a spin from right here in Beverly without having to drive to a ride.  Last fall Mary showed us a LOVELY ride from here, past Lake Catherine Nature Center,  to the Starbucks at 143rd and LaGrange Road.  Since there no longer seems to be a keeper of Beverly Bike Club member emails (there was a healthy list as of 2008), we are learning how to use this smaller BBC subgroup of the larger Chainlink  organization - starting with this logon and reply to your Feb query.  So far so good.  Until the Grant Park Music Festival concerts begins in mid-June, (some concerts are onThursday night) we will try to keep Tues and Thurs evenings open for a ride leaving from Starbucks  @103rd and Longwood at 6:15-6:30 pm.  Hope to see everyone there.  Lois & Merle

Hi Reggie,

Did Mary receive this too?

Will Mary's recent reply appear in my yahoo inbox?

I hope that next Thursday's weather will cooperate so we can get out and ride.

It was good to see so many people at last night's meeting.
