WTB adjusting barrel compatible with Campy Super/Nuovo Record caliper.

Hi All,

I've got some Campy Super/Nuovo Record brake calipers that are missing the adjusting barrel and nut, which kind of makes the brakes worthless. The adjusting barrel is threaded with one flat side.

Do any of you fine folks have something that might work as a replacement laying around in your parts archives that you might be willing to part with?

I've got no spares, but they turn up from time-to-time on Ebay. Also, since that's not really a Chicago-specific part, you might ask on the bikeforum.net classic & vintage forum.

Hi David,

if you don't need the original style barrel adjuster- some other options are available. With some common adjusters- one side can be filed flat to fit well.

Thanks, Skip. I've looked on eBay off and on for the past couple of months. What i've seen is pretty outrageously priced, even for Campy, which is why I decided to ask around here.

Marcus, I'm weighing my options. Thank you for stepping up. I'll contact you if/when I need you.
