Paul Sherwen, a broadcaster who cycling  fans have been listening to for  years has  passed away.  In typical British  understatement he would  describe a  racer who was feeling  the  effects of  a climb as being in  a "spot of  bother."  It will be hard to  imagine  grand tours without he and Phil  Liggett having a conversation  and  letting  the rest of us in  on it while the  racers swept through scenic vistas.

It seems weird to imagine those races without Paul's comentary. RIP Paul.

For once I agree with Anne.  The Tour just won't be the same without the Phil and Paul dynamic.  Bob Roll is cool in his post-race commentary.  But not the same as Phil & Paul.

Thanks for posting. Very sad news.
