Yeah, I totally slayed it on the LFP this morning.  You ride around when I do, and we might have passed each other at some point.

Actually was on path near North Ave at about 7:45 AM and witnessed nasty accident caused by wind-blown sand. A member of Turnin took a very hard fall. I hope he and the other guy who fell first are OK. Nobody should be channeling "lakefront lance" when there's sand everywhere. You can easily lose traction (which is what happened to the first guy who fell) and if you're going too fast, you don't have time to react (which is what happened to the second guy who fell). Please slow down everyone. Get there in one piece.

This afternoon between 4:30 - 5:30 PM

Jackson to 31st then from 31st to Montrose

Path South of Columbia Yacht Club a little traffic, but easy to ride.

Path going North  from Columbia to Fullerton, lots more traffic, but not that hard to navigate.  Obviously some groups of beach-goers stopping mid-path to check their sh*t out or whatever it is that they do in the middle of the path.  There weren't enough of these groups to create utter confusion as was the case Memorial day.  Passing was easy enough.

Still some dry sand spots by the volleyball courts at North.

All in all, not a bad ride on LFP.

Cross wind again; kinda a head-wind both ways, but I won't b*tch because the temps are wonderful!

yes the temps are wonderful!

This morning between 6:50 - 7:35 AM.

Montrose to Hollywood then Hollywood to Jackson

Brisk, beautiful morning on LFP; some headwind when heading North

Some dry sand just North of Foster in a couple of spots.

Just South of Irving Pk Rd, North of tennis courts a BIG tree blocking entire path. Workers are/were actively working to remove it; bet it takes a while. This is beside a huge parking area, so everyone just hopped off the path to the parking pavement, passed the tree, the resumed back on the path.

Wouldn't want to be a motorist NB on LSD by Belmont today; they are TEARING it up with the asphalt grinders.  Looked messy.

Still dry sand around North Avenue Beach area by volleyball courts.

Only one "lakefront lance" got in my lane today, but there was enough room to let him by with no chance of collision.

All-in-all, nice ride this morning!  Loving the weather!
