The Chainlink

Well not right this minute, but most days...

I recently started at a new shop in Oak Park, those of you in the 'bubs and west parts of the city should come say hi and check out the shiny clean new shop.

If you are not already familiar with them Element started as a Triathalon shop in Lincoln Park.  The new shop in Oak Park still has Triathalon bikes and equipment but is going to focus more on general cycling with a full range of hybrid, commuter, road and kids bikes from Trek, BMC and Scott.  Like the location in the city we also have a full service shop and fit studio.

We are located at 1101 Chicago Ave. in Oak Park, just the other side of the block from where Oak Park Cyclery used to; you should come visit me because nobody knows we're her yet and I'm bored...

I'll never think of Oak Park in the same way again.

It is classier now that I work there...

Congrats on the new gig. Does Element carry any folding bikes?

Not at this moment but we are working to have some in the store soon!

Does Element stock Tall Bikes?

Go back to the city carpetbagger!

Those are special order custom builds only.

This makes me feel dirty.

With enough duct tape anything is possible.  The big question is what's the commute like to get there?  Any time I hear Oak Park I think of a long drive under the el on Lake Street.

Is there a bike rack? Don't see one in the picture.
