  FYI..... notice sign on the bus today that no bikes on EL train July 4th 12:00am to July 5th 4am, due to fireworks show.

 

 at least got a early warning. Probably looks like the weekend of the air show will be banned too.

 

  and definitely there will be a banned on trains when the Cubs win the world series.

What Fireworks show? Chicago is having Fireworks this year?

Navy Pier has fireworks every Wednesday & Saturday night during the summer, so I guess bikes are banned on all those days.

If we were to follow the CTA's illogic, that is.

(Bikes aren't really banned on all those days. I'm just pointing out how silly their policy is).

On the plus side, there are multiple days you can see fireworks without getting crushed by a mob!
