ADA Tour de Cure Route Marking (and other) Volunteers Needed (desperately!!)

Greetings!!!  The Tour de Cure is June 8th and we're up to 1,219 riders……

Chicagoland Tour de Cure

BUT…….

We’re having a heckuva time finding volunteers in two critical areas, and just had some people back out.  If you can help, we’d be eternally grateful, and/or pass this along to, well, anyone at all who you think might want to help a great cause!

1) Route Marking – Saturday, June 7th, from 9AM until ~ 2PM – we need help both for path routes and road routes.  Needless to say this is “mission critical”!!  We need about 4-5 more people on bikes, and about 15 in cars to mark the longer routes on the road.

2) We are still looking for volunteers to help unload trucks on Sunday, June 8th that will be going to the Rest Stops, and then loading the trucks back up when the Rest Stops close.

So, if you are up for helping out, please contact Claire Griffith at ClGriffith@diabetes.org and 312-346-1805 x 6565.  Or contact Samantha Sales at SSales@diabetes.org.  We’d appreciate your help and, again, feel free to shoot this out to others.

Thanks Bill Nedza

Just another note on this - our event host is Two Brothers Roundhouse, in Aurora, so if you volunteer

I'd suggest sticking around for lunch and perhaps a brew???  http://www.twobrothersbrewing.com/roundhouse/
