A Transportation Vision Worth Supporting

Three well-versed transportation writer/gurus, Steven Vance, Lynda Lopez, and Yonah Freemark, have done a fine job (IMHO) in creating a transportation platform for the Chicago mayoral candidates to consider.  It is well thought-out, concrete, and comprehensive.  Its suggestions about improvement to the cycling environment in Chicago are practical and worth support.  I'm sure everyone will have a quibble here and there (for example, I'm not sure dockless biking would economically work in Chicago), but I think a lot of Chainlinkers could get behind it, or at least much of it.  Certainly the positions of the candidates on these issues should be considered when casting our ballots.
