My buddy and I have designed a bunch of bicycle-related pins. We're both graphic designers in Chicago and have a love for bicycling. Hopefully, we've got a pin that speaks to you! Consider making a suggestion for the next batch we're working on? Cheers all.

We initially began by conducting lots of user interviews with riders, conducting online research, and speaking to members of the government and members of the bike-share companies. As a result, we gathered a lot of insights into why people ride. Now as we move into the prototyping phase, we want to know how we can increase ridership!

If you do not currently use Divvy/a bikeshare, what is stopping you and what could be added to bikes that would make you more willing to ride? For Divvy/bikeshare users what would make you ride more frequently or for longer distances?

Hi, all.

I am a photographer in Arlington Heights, IL, and I have a commercial product shoot coming up on Monday (October 24th) afternoon/evening. I will be shooting at my studio in Arlington Heights. I have secured a bicycle rental for the shoot (height of model needed to select frame size), but I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that would like to model for it.

Hi all,

I'm working on an article for a local magazine that will be like an insider's guide to cool spots that every cyclist in Chicago should know about. I'd like to include a wide range of things, everything from bars/restaurants that are bike friendly to public places to shower to bike shops that offer free beer while you get your flat fixed (are there any?).

What are your suggestions? Thanks in advance for your input!

Best, Maria

This is promising news for those that travel North to Evanston and the North Shore. Having travelled this section many times (North and South), this would be a huge improvement over the current Clark Street option. In sections, Clark is narrow and between parked cars, speeding cars, and rough pavement, it's sketchy at best. I hope this new bikeway is created quickly.
