Working Bikes x Carhartt Wicker Park Bike-to-School

On Saturday, August 30, Working Bikes will host a bike check-up and bike drive at the Carhartt outerwear/workwear store in Wicker Park. 

Step 1: Bring a bike, bike gear or parts, or a suggested donation of $10 to support Working Bikes' bike donation, education, and volunteer programs here in Chicago.

Step 2: Bring a bike for a brief safety check, which could include seat adjustments, filling tires, cleaning the chain, and checking brakes as needed.

Step 3: Chat with a Working Bikes volunteer to learn about their mission to improve mobility in underserved communities and divert waste (unwanted bikes!) from landfills. Ask about bike safety and maintenance tips, too. 

Step 4: Leave happy!
